From Brazil to California to Brazil to New York, back to California!

I was born June 17th, 1979 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Yes, it was a long way to get here but here I am with many goals accomplished and many more to go. This picture is very unique and important to me: It was the first time in my life I was in the press...  That's me and my father in Santa Barbara, California, May 12th, 1983. I was three years old.

 

 

I was raised in California until around 1985 and then moved back to Brazil. As a child I dreamed about acting and nobody took me seriously.

 

 

When I was 17 I started acting school, but still I didn't know where it would take me... At 18 I became a LAW STUDENT. Looking back I think the whole idea was just ridiculous. Why did I do that? Brainstorming I found an answer: I like movies with lawyers, crime and court... I didn't want to be a lawyer in reality. But portray one on the screen.

 

In 1998 I came to New York City for the first time. I was fascinated by this wonderful city. I had to do something about my life. Take action or die! So I quit Law School and finally was being true to myself: I AM AN ACTOR!

 

 

 

I moved to New York in June 2003. I belong in America. Somehow I always knew.

 

 

 

I moved to Los Angeles, California in August 2007.

Guile Branco, the Bodybuilder

I became a competing bodybuilder at the age of seventeen. I competed until I was 22.

Bodybuilding taught me that to achieve goals one needs discipline and focus. 

It was a lot of fun.

The exact location is a small beach town called Sao Sebastiao, north shore of the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Jose is a marine biologist, scientist, professor, scuba diver, etc... I admire him because he succeeded exactly where he wanted to succeed. He wanted to travel the world and be a scientist and he did it. He left the small town he was born at and his poor family to the big city following his dream.  He is a winner.
